Facilities EngineersYour main Job function and Key responsibility areas are:
- Provide insight to the Business Units in surface facilities: wellhead fluid gathering, crude oil treatment, gas conditioning and processing, and product transportation, in an onshore/offshore environment, including evaluation of new ventures and projects
- Review and approve the specification, design, and supply (by contractors) of process (static, dynamics) equipment and piping in onshore/offshore production facilities, ensuring that it meets project objectives, industry standards and best practices for safety, reliability and cost
- Prepare process concept definition, being involved in preliminary studies, conceptual and basic design, FEED, construction, installation, hook up, commissioning and start up of surface facilities from the project planning through execution, in close liaison with the project manager
- Evaluating contractor proposals for Technical Studies, FEED and EPC. Execute the project monitoring
- Handle internal interfaces with HSE, Planning, QA/QC Organizations and Business Units, as well as the external interfaces with engineering companies, services specialists, partners and others
Required Specific Knowledge and Technical Skills are: - Production System Design, Oil & Gas Processes & Facilities, Life cycle design, Production system engineering
- Utilities Design, Mechanical Design, Piping Design, Cryogenic Plants Design, Water Injection Plants, Revamping and Upgrading Plants, Contractor’s Documentation
- Project management process, cost estimation, economics, contracting, technical specifications and bidding, technical audits and design reviews.
- Construction & Installation, Offshore Installation Supervision, Inspection, control and testing techniques
- Local/National and International Standard and Codes, Health, Safety, Environment, Quality, Tender procedure, Health of Site Management, Agreement
Education and qualifications:
- Engineering Degree/Diploma in Process, Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering
- Fluent knowledge of English
- Fluent in Spanish will be an asset
- Minimum 10 years of Oil and Gas experience
Explorationist
Proactive identification, evaluation, analysis and recommendation of exploration opportunities to contribute to the company’s growth objectives.
Functions:
- The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, results-oriented person that has at least 10 years of international experience in the oil industry with a strong knowledge in Geosciences with International Oil Companies
- She or he will be conversant with full cycle prospect evaluation including strong background in G&G and risk and volumetric assessment
- Candidate must have proven experience in farm out, round evaluations and comply short deadlines.
- The successful candidate will be capable of working independently, while being an excellent team player
- The position is based in Madrid, but frequent travelling is to be expected
Essential Functions:

Carbonate Sedimentologist
Specific Position Responsibilities :
- To assist Exploration Groups within the company in the identification, interpretation and evaluation of exploratory play concepts in carbonate rocks
- To conduct and evaluate petrographical and other analytical techniques and to QC the analytical jobs conducted externally
- To provide support in the prediction of porosity and permeability distribution through the evaluation of seismic attributes in carbonate rocks either for exploration or development projects
- To liase with the industry, relevant contractors and academia on topics related to carbonates
- To collaborate on the definition of the necessary in-house training programme related to the exploration of carbonate plays
Required Skills / Experience :
- Geoscience degree at MSc or PhD level
- More than 10 years of proven experience, having worked at least 3 of them with 3D seismic volumes interpreting accoustic properties of the rocks
- Expertise in petrographical and petrophysical analysis of carbonate rocks, evaluating diagenesis and porosity formation/destruction in carbonate rocks
- Highly proficient in integrating 3D seismic data with well data to characterize stratigraphic sequences, identifying facies and visualizing the sedimentary architecture in carbonates settings
- Proficient in computer applications used for subsurface evaluation and seismic interpretation
- Good personal skills and service oriented
- Fluency in English
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus

Team Leader West Africa

Senior Structural Geologist
Specific Position Responsibilities:
- To provide support with expert consultation in structural geology issues for exploration and development projects
- To collaborate in keeping the company continuously updated in relevant technological aspects related to this discipline by a close interaction with the industry, contractors and academia
- To contribute to the adequate in-house training program in structural geology concepts and to lead the knowledge transfer in this discipline within the company
- To collaborate on the definition of the necessary in-house training programme related to the discipline
Required Skills / Experience:
- PhD, MSc or equivalent in Structural Geology
* Over 10 years of proven experience working for reputable exploration companies in structural geology
* Additional experience in other disciplines related to O&G exploration will be considered a plus - Familiar with seismic interpretation techniques, being able to conduct fracture analysis and their characterization using also borehole imaging and core data
- Proficient user of structural analysis and geological modelling software packages
- Proven ability in solving geo-mechanical problems related to reservoirs and seals
- Good personal skills and service oriented

Senior Geologist
Specific Position Responsibilities :
- Subsurface data interpretation and well geological correlations and cross-sections
- Regional mapping, identification and definition of prospects in the block using available wells and well bore data
- Developing regional prospectivity maps through the integration of all subsurface data including formation tops, faults, sequence and bi framework, migration pathways, reservoir rock properties and production well test history
- Generating detailed and general paleo-geographic, facies, isopach, structural, fault, net pay, porosity maps, as applicable and appropriate, to define prospects and set regional context.
- Integrate results from multidisciplinary G&G studies particularly on reservoir studies and on geochemical data to reduce source and charge risks
- Provide follow-up, geological support and assistance during well drilling operations
- Top formations updating, quick look log interpretation and correlation
- Provide appropriate petrophysical parameters as key input into the volumetric and reserve estimation
- Evaluate and assess the geological risks of the exploration prospects
- Evaluate hydrocarbon potential assessing well distributions and identifying key uncertainties in the subsurface data and Interpretations
- Build and maintain an appropriate geological database updating interpretations from evaluation of well log data, cores and other new well data
- Proposal, preparation and supervision of geological studies
Required Skills/Experience :
- Bsc. in Geology or higher degree
- 10 years of experience in E&P companies
- Experience on well data acquisition & evaluation, geology & drilling well program, interpretation surface logging, hydrocarbon shows data, coring, wireline formation testing
- Significant experience in using full petroleum system analysis in both regional prospectively assessment and detailed prospect identification
- Preferable exposure to Middle East geology and operational activities
- Subsurface data interpretation, correlation and mapping by using interactive geological interpretation packages (GeoFrame or OpenWorks)
- Ability to collaborate across mufti-funct1onal team
- Strong communication skills
- Fluency in English
Senior Drilling Engineers (Located in different countries)
Functions:
- Integrate a Drilling team dedicate to well design preparing of drilling programs, ensuring that both RY polices & procedures are followed
- Visualize opportunities to enable implementation of new technologies
- Spread knowledge of technological advances to the operations groups, focused on HSE, and QA/QC and International Drilling Practices
Required Skills :
- To be proactive and Team Player
- B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering
- A recognized course in benchmarking of oil fields
- At least 5 years in practical Oil Drilling Engineering
- Good Excel skills, Word skills, understanding of a DIS would be an advantage
- Good written and spoken English is required
- A current driving license and a current Well Certificate is required
- International availability
Senior Seismic Interpreter
Functions:
- Primary responsibility will be seismic interpretation/prospect generation with additional involvement in seismic acquisition and processing
- The successful candidates should have the following qualifications:
- MSc in Geophysics/ Geology or equivalent
- At least, ten years experience in the described functions
- Experience with signal enhancement techniques for stratigraphic/lithologic methods, reservoir geophysics, inversion methods/structural and stratigraphic modelling, direct hydrocarbon detection and seismic acquisition techniques
- Experience with interpretation workstations and technical applications, preferably Charisma and Geoframe
- Experience in generating prospects for drilling
- Technical knowledge and ability to recommend additional studies when required
- Willingness to work as member of a technical team
Additional requirements :
Familiarity with main exploration plays in Africa and Middle East and knowledge of Spanish would be an advantage
