KANGEAN ENERGY INDONESIA Ltd - Various Positions

Kangean Energy Indonesia Ltd. (“KEI”) is the operator of Kangean PSC working area which is located at the easternmost islands of the East Java Province. The Kangean PSC has a variety of assets in its area including producing oil and gas fields and substantial exploration potential.

KEI is currently developing Terang gas fields for the first gas in Q2 2010, and will supply the gas with a peak production rate of 300 MMCFD to customers in East Java mainland. KEI is also developing Pagerungan Utara (PUO) oil field that to be on line by 2009.

KEI will continue to develop the significant hydrocarbon resources in the area by appraising the existing discovery, such as West Kangean, and accelerating the exploration programs.

KEI is conducting the activities in the PSC under the management control of Mitsubishi Corporation (Mitsubishi) and Japan Petroleum Exploration Co., Ltd (Japex), with Energi Mega Persada Tbk. (EMP) as a partner.
