2) COAL QUALITY OFFICER
Complete knowledge of COAL supply chain, COAL quality / analytical services. Min 5 yrs experience, with background in COAL companies / COAL Surveying Companies. Location: Jakarta and East/South Kalimantan.

3) COAL LOGISTIC OFFICER
Complete knowledge of COAL handling, COAL logistics chain in Indonesia, MUST have excellent existing relationship with Barge/Floating Crane operators, Stevedores, agents. Min 5 yrs work experience in Coal producer or Coal trading company. Location: Jakarta and East/South Kalimantan.

4) COAL BACK OFFICE / OPERATIONS OFFICER
Complete understanding of Coal supply chain, contracts, letter of credits, COAL related documentation in Indonesia. Minimum 5 years experience in COAL company. Location: Jakarta.

5) OFFICE/HR MANAGER
Excellent business acumen and at least 10 years of practical experience in HR and Administration. Best if in COAL Company. Strong problem-solving skills. Location: Jakarta.

Duty Number:
  • Manage Australia–Indonesia Institute (AII) and Cultural Section projects, with particular responsibility for high-profile projects, flagship programs (Muslim Exchange Program) and cultural activities, including travel as necessary;
  • Assist with development and implementation of media strategy for AII programs and cultural diplomacy programs, including drafting press releases, liaising closely with Public Affairs Section and networking directly with Indonesian media contacts to facilitate coverage of AII and cultural programs, projects and activities;
  • Liaise at high level with the Indonesian Government and other relevant organisations;
  • Assist the Counsellor (Cultural) in initiating and assessing programs and preparing reports as required and monitoring/managing together with Public Affairs the budget forecast and allocation;
  • Arrange and coordinate visits to and from Australia by cultural and other figures including supervising the facilitation of visas by Project Officers;
  • Supervise the Personal Assistant’s management of the AII and Cultural Section file lists and opening of new files, check all Cultural staff have their filing up to date;
  • Day-to-day supervision of the Project Officers and Personal Assistant as required;
  • Translate/interpret at a very high level of bilingual fluency;
  • In the absence of Counsellor (Cultural), manage the Cultural Section as delegated in consultation with the Counsellor (Public Affairs).

  • Demonstrated ability to develop, market and manage high-profile projects, in particular relating to cultural exhibitions and exchange programs with a good knowledge and network of cultural contacts and programs;
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement a relevant media strategy and work with Indonesian media to promote Australia and its cultural programs;
  • Demonstrated ability to monitor and manage a busy section and its budget forecasts and allocations;
  • Ability to manage others in the section and work with very minimal supervision under pressure and to meet deadlines;
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as a member of a team;
  • Ability to undertake translation and interpreting tasks at a very high level of bilingual fluency (English and Indonesian);
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications are desirable.

SECURITY MANAGER (REF: 419482)
This is a key role managing the security operations and related requirements for the multiple locations within the Pearl Project where you will provide a coordinated approach to the provision of security on the Project and anticipate the upcoming requirements in the Study phase to BHP Billiton standards.

Reporting to the Assets Manager, you will be responsible for establishing and implementing Security policies and procedures for the Pearl Project. You will also be responsible for designing and implementing remedial actions that may be required as a result of Security issues or audits. The overall management of all security personnel, performance management review and team building will allow you to develop a highly skilled and professional team.

Your substantial experience in Security Manager roles will be supplemented by qualifications in Security Management. You will have demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in the implementation of Security Systems, ideally within multinational corporate or resources setting. Extensive experience providing residential security for expatriates and understanding of expatriate requirements and potential risk areas, as well as experience working with or within Indonesian Military or Police will allow you to effectively develop in this dynamic position. Fluent communication skills in both English and Indonesian bahasa are essential along with sound report writing.

This position will require the majority of time spent working in several remote project site locations.

PROJECT CONTROL SPECIALIST (REF: 417390)

This role will be responsible for the day to day operations of our Sorong Office (in Papua) including Safety, financial services, administration, transport, logistics and supply according to BHP Billiton standards. You will be required to supervise and coordinate general administration functions of the office including office systems and procedures, administration of local contracts, management of accounts payable/receivable in conjunction with the Jakarta office. You will also require organizing the purchase and maintenance of office supplies and equipment. This role will support a smooth and efficient operation of our site activities through managing both internal and external communications including the government and community relations for the project.
Previous experience in managing a remote office environment and multi-disciplinary office will be well regarded. Your proven ability in administrative function and process improvement will compliment your background. A team player and good communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia are essential. Significant experience working in logistics, finance and purchasing.

This is Sorong (Papua) based position.

SITE MANAGER (REF: 447324)
Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will be responsible for the overall site activities in Eastern Indonesia to ensure smooth and efficient operation. You will be required to effectively troubleshoot and investigate innovative solutions that provide a win-win outcome. In this broad role you will ultimately be responsible for but not limited to overseeing Community Relations, HSE, Security, Camp, Logistics and Geological teams.

You will have gained substantial skills and experience in working with site personnel and managing the site facilities, i.e. mine site, camp, etc. An all-round Project Manager, who can multi-task and delegate requirements, will enhance the effective management of your various teams. A strong Health and Safety focus will assist in achieving Zero harm whilst a demonstrated proactive engagement with local community will be highly advantageous.
