Environmental Specialist (Code: ES)

Requirements:

• Male/Female, 30 – 40 years old
  
• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Forestry, Environment Technology or related areas
  
• With GPA ≥ 3.00
  
• Having min. 4 years experience in handling the environmental activity
  
• Having knowledge and skills in handling AMDAL, mine reclamation and ISO 14001
  
• Have good leadership
  
• Hard woking and able work in a team
  
• Good interpersonal and Organizational skill
  
• Willing to be placed in project location

Safety & Health Specialist (Code: SHS)

Responsibilities:

Analyze, evaluate and coordinate occupational health and safety policy and practices throughout the company in order to create a safe and healthy working environment.

Requirements:

• Male, 30 – 40 years old
  
• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational health, safety, or related areas
  
• With GPA ≥ 3.00
  
• Having min. 4 years experience in occupational health and safety
  
• Having knowledge and skills in Health and Safety System in mining and agribusiness workplace
  
• Able to implement SMK3 and ISO 18001
  
• Having K3 certification will be advantageous
  
• Have good leadership

Accounting Junior Staff (Code; AJS)

Requirements:

• Female, 20 – 25 years old
  
• Hold Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from reputable university

Hatfield has operated a full-time office in Indonesia for more than 18 years, providing environmental consulting services to industry, government agencies, NGOs and international development organizations. PT Hatfield Indonesia has grown significantly in the past 5 years, resulting in the need to relocate to a new, larger office in the city of Bogor, West Java. On April 18th, the Ambassador of Canada, his Excellency John Holmes, officially opened the office in the company of the Canadian Trade Commissioner, clients (past and present), and partners from the Indonesian Institute of Science and Bogor Agriculture University.

PT Hatfield Indonesia (PTHI) is seeking an intermediate level Environmental Specialist for our Bogor office. The selected individual will work under the supervision of the Environment Manager and other senior staff and join a team of specialists/scientists with working in environment, forestry, and geomatics.

Environmental Specialist (Intermediate Level)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Contributing to and managing aspects of various environmental projects some of which will include: Environmental Impact Assessments, Environmental Monitoring, Environmental Audits, Environmental Baseline Surveys, and liaise with government bodies for environmental permit approval;
  
• Assisting in the development of proposals for various environmental projects (as mentioned above);
  
• Analyzing data and report writing related with environmental projects; and
  
• Reporting and coordinating project activities with senior management.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• A minimum of Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, and/or related fields of specialization such as Biology, Chemistry, or Fisheries;
  
• Minimum 5 years progressive experience working on environmental projects or in environmental consultancy in Indonesia;
  
• Familiar with Indonesian environmental regulations for numerous sectors: mining, oil and gas, etc.;
  
• Experience working in the oil and gas sector is a strong asset;
  
• Familiar with air quality monitoring (i.e. air emissions);
  
• Possess good network of contacts from environmental organizations;
  
• Computer skills: MS Office, MS Project, Statistical Software (or other additional as an advantage);
  
• Excellent communication, analytical and writing skills; and
  
• Strong English writing and speaking skills
