To maintain the next.co.uk internet site as well as all our family of websites, to ensure they are best in class in terms of user experience and continue to exceed customer and business expectations. You will be expected to analyse, document and propose solutions for large and/or complex business areas and to prepare functional specifications, to assist in the preparation of user and system test plans. The role will also involve planning and managing the weekly and seasonal changes to all the next websites as well as working alongside the senior BA’s on larger, long term projects.
Key Responsibilities
To deputise for the Senior BA’s including reporting, projects, covering meetings, Q&A, plus additional responsibilities as and when required.
Collecting, understanding, and transmitting the business requirements for Next projects, and translating these into functional specifications and detailed test plans.
To ensure Next.co.uk and all our family of websites continue to exceed customer expectations by remaining up to date in regards to competitor activity and new technology to allow the transition of new and commercial ideas to adapt to improve the users experience of the Next family of websites.
To work with the Ecommerce Systems Team to product manage by setting development priorities and ensuring agreed deadlines for new designs and updates; by providing analysis of planned future developments of websites; providing accurate process mapping and design flows to meet the commercial brand requirements.
To initiate, lead and manage multiple projects ensuring the involvement of colleagues and subordinates specifically relating to the future development and improvement of the look and feel of the Next family of websites by investigating and making recommendations for business initiatives, business investigation and competitor analy  |
