Summary of Role

As a Customer Service Advisor you'll be on the end of a phone for customers who want to make an order or enquiry. Most of your time will be spent talking to customers, and that can mean anything from receiving their orders, checking and confirming stock availability, arranging deliveries, locating undelivered goods - and everything in-between. So it's a busy job, and just about every call is different.

Typical hours

We offer predominately part-time roles from 12 hours per week (the minimum commitment).  Your working hours will be fixed for the first six months, with the possibility of changing your shift pattern after this providing there is an alternative shift available.

Customer Service Advisor - Evington
Monday to Wednesday 1pm to 6pm
Thursday to Saturday 1pm to 6pm
Monday to Wednesday 3.30pm to 7.30pm
Thursday, Friday 3.30pm to 7.30pm & Saturday 1pm to 8pm
  
Home Customer Service Advisor - Enderby
Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm
Monday to Friday 11am to 6pm
Saturday & Sunday 9am to 4pm
Saturday & Sunday 4pm to 10pm

Summary of Role
 
To oversee the supervision of the Domestic Services Department at weekends for both Next Directory sites, at our Head Office, Phase 5 and at Gedding Road. To ensure a high level of hygiene and cleanliness is maintained throughout the sites.

An additional shift premium will be paid for the hours worked on Sunday.
 
Responsibilities
 
Manage the team to ensure high standards are achieved and carry out inspections where necessary to ensure that these standards are maintained.
Monitor attendance, holidays and absence in accordance with Company Policy.
To provide support and motivation on the weekend shift, dealing with and resolving any issues/concerns initially.
To liaise with the weekday Domestic Services Supervisors regarding materials and equipment required for the department at weekends.
To ensure that all staff are trained in accordance with COSH and Health & Safety legislation.
To maintain an awareness of legislation relevant to the Domestic Services Department.
