To implement and monitor the email marketing and online display advertising campaigns for the Next family of websites. Marketing activities will include email campaigns and display advertising. Day to day responsibilities will include the briefing of creative agencies and development campaigns to ensure full optimisation with media agencies.
 
Responsibilities

General Marketing
 
Assistance to the Marketing Manager in all aspects of the role including reporting, projects, covering meetings, plus additional responsibilities including QA, and other ad-hoc tasks as required.
Report on e-marketing activities to feed in to the Next Directory developing e-marketing strategy.
Assist team to profitably increase traffic to the Next Directory websites.
Work with marketing, product, content and other teams on maximising their online presence and revenue generation opportunities.
Develop with Ecommerce Marketing Manager and other teams an annual campaign calendar.
Always delivers to standard and often exceeds expectations.
 
Audience Measurement/Reporting
 
Assess through web stats analysis the performance of our websites systems and the success rates for our customers.
Learns how to assess email and display activity.
Reporting on and application of online marketing tracking system.
Provision of custom reports to individual team requirements as and when required.
Seeks new ways to measure and monitor our customers.
 
Database management
 
Assist with the selections from core in-house database for the broadcast of emails.
Seeks to develop new opportunities for capture of appropriate and added value email data

Summary of Role

To produce a series of commercially usable customer insights using customer and prospect data, and promote it’s use in the business to increase revenue, reduce cost, improve ROI, and/or improve the customer experience.
 
Responsibilities

Establish, manage and improve all Marketing management information reporting (Recruitment, New Customer Activity, Actives/Orderers, Retention) and ensure accuracy and timely availability of reports for regular scheduled meetings and as required by the Marketing Planning Manager and the business.
Arrange a quarterly Campaign Performance presentation to Directory Marketing teams
Work with Marketing Systems Support colleagues to ensure we optimise performance of marketing database systems and have access to all appropriate data sets required for marketing and analysis.
Assist development of Customer Retention program and undertake all data related work to plan, execute and measure the program
Build customer predictive models to identify high potential lifetime value customers most likely to undertake certain behaviour (e.g. Lapse/attrite, buy, multi-buy, buy specific goods, migrate segments, respond to campaigns, respond to Main Book, return goods, default) and support the Marketing Planning Manager promote the use of those models in the business.
Provide analysis of Main Book performance, customer purchasing behaviour, and tests relating to Main seasonal Book. Assist the Marketing Planning Manager share and promote the use of this analysis in the business.
Assist the Campaign Analysts with production of customer analysis to support improved targeting of campaigns using responder/non responder profiling and CHAID and other modelling techniques
Undertake ad-hoc analysis work and projects as requested by the Marketing
