0021272 - Temporary Senior Finance Administrator (6 month contract)

Summary of Role

To ensure customer accounts are adjusted to correctly reflect the entries on the Directory bank accounts in various currencies and where fraud has occurred to block customer accounts and report to the relevant department for investigation.
To be a point of contact for the banks and the Call Centre, so that customer payment queries can be dealt with quickly and efficiently.
To raise manual refund requests and investigate any missing payments.
To reconcile and investigate balance sheet control accounts within strict deadlines and maintain these accounts on a daily basis.
Prepare and distribute management information reports.
 
Key Responsibilities

Account Adjustments:

Reconcile adjustments to customer accounts made the previous day
Apply payments to customer accounts as detailed on daily bank statements
Process Bank Giro Credits as received from Alliance and Leicester and Head Office Clearing Account, pulling items from suspense and applying to customer accounts where possible
Adjust customer accounts for cheques received and complete banking submission form before passing to the Head Office Banking Department
Adjust accounts for refer to drawer cheques debited to Next bank accounts
Reconcile tenders from various third parties to the customer accounts adjusted on a daily basis
 
Payment Queries and Customer Service:
Process payment queries as received from banks, the call centre or other areas of the business
Investigate and validate refund requests from relevant Call Centre departments and banks, prior to raising cheque or BACS requisition
Provide a fast and efficient service to all customers (internal and external)
Ensure there is always suitable telephone cov

Summary of Role

The job purpose is to assist in operating a range of fulfillment machines which enclose essential oand direct mail pieces into envelopes for dispatch to a range of customers. The role involves working shift patterns (to be agreed), being part of a two person team with the main objective being the continuous operation of the mailroom equipment. In order to complete this you will be asked to assist the machine operator, prepare, move stock and check presentation of the mailpeice before banding and attaching the corresponding dispatch label..
 
Responsibilities

Set and assist in operating a Pitney Bowes FX10 inserter.
Set and assist in operating a Vitesse inserter.
Set and assist in operating guillotines (Neotec and Technau)
Set and assist in operating folding equipment.
Ensuring work is sorted and presented correctly (Quality checking).
Maintain stock levels to ensure production does not stop.
Provide out of hours support during peak periods.
Adhere to H&S directives and wear PPE
