LOWONGAN KERJA GEOLOGY MANAGER INTERNATIONAL PRECIOUS METAL COMPANY

Our client an International Precious Metal Company is seeking an Indonesian national to fill the role of Geology Manager .

The Geology Manager will be accountable for the management of all aspects geological functions including exploration, the drilling contract, contractors and consultants, and geological aspects of the scoping, pre-feasibility and feasibility studies. Success will be achieved through delivering technical excellence, high quality management and team work.

A focus on a constant review of activities is essential to ensure short to medium plans and objectives are being met coupled with a strategic focus on long term aims for the project.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Effectively manage all aspects of the Project’s geological function
  
• Manage, in conjunction with the Manager HS&E, the development and implementation of effective OHS&E policies and procedures related to the geological function to ensure safe and environmentally sustainable operations.
  
• Ensure effective geological policies, procedures, systems and processes are developed and implemented
  
• Ensure all role related activities comply with relevant Acts, legal requirements, ethical standards and Project policies.
  
• Provide effective management of the Geology team
  
• Proactively develop and maintain positive relationships with external stakeholders.
  
• Support the Project Director by reporting with timely, relevant and comprehensive geological information/data for review and decision making.
  
• Promote trust, respect, openness and collaboration as the basis for relationships with the employees and management.
  
• Provide an adequate level of control, deliver consistent results and prudently addresses business risks.
  
• Contribute to the short to long term planning processes that enable optimisation of the Tujuh Bukit geological function.
  
• Actively participate and contribute as a member of the Project management team.
  
• Manage and account for finances, including budgeting, cost control and asset management.
  
• Develop a culture of open communication with management and employees.
  
• Instil in the workforce the Project’s Code of Conduct and compliance with all policies and procedures.
  
• Endorse and support the drive for a safety conscious performance based culture.
  
• Drive a continuous improvement culture

Qualifications & Experience: Approximately 15 years experience in geological functions with a balanced mix of exploration geology and mine geology experience, including:

• 5+ years geology department management experience of group sizes larger than 10 people
  
• 5+ years geology department management experience requiring interaction with community affairs, administration & logistics, environment and safety
  
• Experience in consultant management and contractor management, including direction of resource modelling process, QAQC processes and letting, awarding and management of drilling, survey and other associated contracts.
  
• Experience in hard rock exploration, particularly Cu-Au porphyry systems
  
• Experience in contributing to scoping and feasibility studies
  
• Experience with leadership of the resource modelling process including core-logging, geological interpretations, wireframing and geostatistical applications.

This role is open to Indonesian citizens only. The successful candidate will be site based on a 28/14 roster from point of hire. Terms and conditions for the role will be discussed at the interview stage.
